Sandy Engstrom-Roy & Hilda's daughter - January 16th, 2012 at 1:43pm - Email
About once a month we would get together with Gord's. Dad would call and ask "Going to be home?" and after church and sunday school Dad would put 5 gals. of gas in the car and off we'd go. Virginia was baking a cake by the time we arrived. It always smelled so good. Dad would usually get a haircut from Virginia and leave a couple $ on the counter of her red kitchen. Gord loved any color as long as it was red. Virginia was a tall gal, but Gord loved her in her red high heels....Memories..Thank goodness we have them. We will miss her. Love Sandy- Roy and Hilda's daughter.
