To the Family, I am deeply sorry to hear of your loss. Losing my parent has been difficult for me. However, I found this scripture helpful. At 2 Cor 1:3,4 it says: “3Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;4Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.” Hopefully thinking about what these verses state can help your family during this time as it has for me.

I remember working with Alvina at Bethesda nursing home back in the late 60’s early 70’s. She trained me and was also a great friend to me. We had many fun times together! RIP

Alvin was one of the first persons I got to know in Webster when I started my career with Northwestern Energy in 1989. She offered her gracious hospitality to me many, many times. She is a fond memory for me in Webster. Even though it is sad to see a loved one depart, the blessings we have are the good memories that we shared with her. May those memories and the love of the Lord remain in the hearts of the people she touched with her life. My thoughts and prayers for her extended family. Karen Kahre
