WEBSTER- Darlene Breske, 70 of Webster died on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at Christ The King Catholic Church, Webster. Burial will be in St. Otto’s Catholic Cemetery, Webster. Visitation will be at Fiksdal Funeral Service (fiksdalfuneral.com) in Webster on Tuesday 2-4 P.M. then continuing at the church until 8:00 P.M. with a 7:00 P.M. Rosary service. Darlene Marie Spaniol Breske was born on April 19, 1939 at Henry, South Dakota to George and Marie (Smith) Spaniol. She graduated from Henry High School, Class of 1957. She married Andrew Breske on November 8, 1958 at St. Henry Catholic Church, Henry, South Dakota. To this union four children were born; Dana (Kari) Breske, Rosemarie (Arlie) Larson, Belinda (Paul) Hanson and Gail (Loren) Petersen. She is also survived by one sister, Mary Watkins of Pierre, SD and a sister-in-law, Harriet Spaniol of Webster, SD; nine grandchildren and one step grandchild. Darlene worked at Dakotah, Inc., United Church Directories and Alco. She was preceded in death by parents, two brothers, three sisters and one grandson.
