My sympathy to you and the family. I am his cousin, living in California. Franklin's mother and my mother were sisters. It has been many years since I last seen Franklin. I remember him well as he was always present when our family came back to S.D. for our summer visits. I am greatly saddened to hear of his passing - so sorry for your loss.
