Janeen Stulken

Janeen Stulken, 68 of Webster died on Friday, April 03, 2015 at Sanford Hospital in Webster. Her funeral will be at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Webster, Rev. Daniel Ostercamp officiating. Burial will be in the Webster Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral homer on Monday 5-7 P.M. followed by a 7 P.M. prayer service. Visitation will resume at the church on Tuesday prior to service. Janeen Rae Brower was born on Sunday, January 5, 1947 to George and Clarella (Arends) Brower at Willow Lake, South Dakota. The family lived in several locations in the Huron area and eventually made their home in Wolsey. She graduated from Wolsey High School in 1965. After high school she moved to Letcher where she worked at Storla Nursing Home, she then moved to Huron where she worked at Metz Baking Company for fifteen years. She was united in marriage to Brian Stulken on July 30, 1983. After their marriage the couple made their home in Webster where she operated a daycare for kids for 31 years until recently when her health failed. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Webster where she helped out with the church youth group. She enjoyed word search books and playing solitaire. She loved children and caring for them. Janeen passed away on Friday, April 03, 2015 at Webster, South Dakota at the age of 68 years, 2 months and 29 days. Survivors include her husband, Brian; one daughter, Amanda Stulken of Webster, SD; two step-sons, Jerrin (Kayela) Stulken of Elkton, SD and Jeremy (Sally) Stulken of Brookings, SD; one brother, Gregory (Beth) Brower of Wolsey, SD; a sister, Colleen (Jens) Holm of Brookings, SD; three grandchildren, Jae-Lynn, Zane and Maddyx; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
