Jerome Enstad

SIOUX FALLS - Jerome Enstad, 83, of Sioux Falls died January 14, 2007 at Avera McKennan Hospital. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 18, 2007 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Webster, SD. with burial at Skudesnes Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2007 at Heritage Funeral Home, Sioux Falls, SD. with the family present from 6:30 to 8:00 and a 7:00 p.m. prayer service. Fiksdal Funeral Service of Webster is in charge of the arrangements in Webster. He was born May 23, 1923 at Pierpont, SD and attended Pierpont High School graduating in 1942. On February 7, 1945 he married Genevieve Tostenson in Aberdeen, SD. Jerome farmed and lived in the Pierpont/Webster area until moving to Sioux Falls in 1962. He was employed as a custom picture framer at Carlson Paint Center until retirement in 1991. His priority in life was his family, especially his two granddaughters and great granddaughter. They were his whole world. Grateful for having shared his life are his wife, Jenny of Sioux Falls; two sons, Marv, of Sioux Falls, Bob of Sioux Falls; a daughter, Joan Myers (Loren) of Beresford, SD; two granddaughters, Crystal and Ashley Enstad; great granddaughter, Serenity; one step grandson, James Myers of Howard; one brother, Melvin of Pierpont and several nieces and nephews. Jerome was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Alma Enstad and a son, Gordon.
