LaVonne Millim, 71, of Webster passed away on Monday July 20, 2020 at Bethesda Home in Webster. Private Family Services will be 2 P.M. Saturday July 25, 2020 and will be live streamed on Fiksdal Funeral Service Facebook page. Burial will be at the Tabor cemetery at 3:15 P.M. Saturday, friends and family are welcome. Social distancing guidelines will be followed. Walk through visitation will be on Friday 5-7 P.M. at Fiksdal Funeral Chapel in Webster. Fiksdalfuneral.com LaVonne Marie Tvinnereim was born on October 11, 1948 to Arnold and Carol (Dalager) Tvinnereim in Webster, South Dakota. She was baptized and confirmed at Tabor Lutheran Church near Webster. As a child the family moved around for her father’s job and LaVonne attended schools in Webster, Ortley, and California. The family returned to Webster in 1964 and LaVonne graduated from Webster High School in 1966. She attended Northern State College in Aberdeen, South Dakota and then returned to Webster. She was united in marriage to Roger Millim on May 4, 1968 at Tabor Lutheran Church. The couple made their home in Webster. To this union two sons were born, Douglas and Jonathan. LaVonne worked various jobs in the area mainly in sales at Cornwell Drug and as the Manager at Fiksdal Furniture and Gifts until her retirement in 2014. LaVonne was a member of Tabor Lutheran Church, the Quilting Club, and was a founding member of the Precious Moments Club. She enjoyed quilting, bead work, artwork such as painting and crafts, baking, collecting Precious Moments, and Snow Village pieces. LaVonne passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020 at Bethesda Home in Webster at the age of 71 years, 9 months, and 9 days. She will be missed by her husband Roger Millim of Webster, SD; one son Jonathan (Karissa) Millim of Brookings, SD, and three grandchildren; Mason, Devin, and Lizzie. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father Rueben Nelson, and a son Douglas.
