I was lucky when married to my departed ex husband, to be part of a tight knit group of friends whom had been together since they were in school. Mark was one our closest. As much as he liked to be seen as a rough and tumble guy in the group,he had a very big heart that he tried to keep a secret. I feel privileged to have known that side of him. He always welcomed us to his home and was always the first to show up if we needed help. He once even drove me all the way to Aberdeen to register to vote! I got to know Russell (RIP)well as a child and baby sat him if they went out. He gave me the sweet nickname of Sue Babe, which was passed on down the family to Audra, Jackie and Mark who LOVED to teasingly use that name for me after that. The 15 years I spent in Detroit after my marraige to Darold ended gave us all time to settle into our lives (and get old I guess). So many of the tight knit group moved, remarried and some passed away....but still, whenever I saw Mark it was like no time had passed, still calling me Sue Babe and giving me the crooked grin and though we no longer spent time together like the old days, Mark was still the dear friend he had always been. Rest in Peace Mark and tell Russel Sue Babe says "Hi!" My Love goes to Marks Family, especially Audra Love, Sue Clynick
