Hello to all of you! I, too, want to send my heartfelt sympathy to your entire family. Your dad was a very special person, and as someone else has said, always had a smile and a twinkle in his eye! Your mom and dad meant so much to me growing up, and always made a point to have me over whenever I came back to Bristol to visit and for the school reunions. I know Oren will be greatly missed, but also know you are comforted to know he is now with the Lord, and with your mom and Jay. God bless you today and in the days ahead!

Hello Ausland family, We were so saddened to hear of Oren's death. It was a bitter sweet thought process as he has not felt so well but who wants to let someone go. We smiled to each other thinking that Oren died on the same day as his beloved wife Violet. ( Even her name is associated with beauty.) She too was a wonderful person. They are together now...forever. Our condolences to all of you. Roger and Jane Skatvold

Oren was a great dad and grandpa. That was the capacity we seen him in. He always had a smile for everyone and was so encouraging. Tom and I thought it was so wonderful that he had memorials go to the WW II Honor Flight. What a thoughtful gift to others, but that was Oren. We also thought it was a GodWink that he died the same day as Violet. Now they will always celebrate entering the Pearly gates on the same day. We can just see the twinkle in his eye when you tell others about it. You were all blessed with a good man for a dad and grandpa, but we benefited from it also. Thanks for sharing him with us. God Bless Oren and Violet's Family.

Scott called and told me the sad news. I'm so sorry to hear that Oren has died. Both he and Violet were always so kind to us. I have great memories of them, and I am sure that you do too. I hope the happy memories sustain you during this difficult time.

You have my sincere sympathy in the passing of your Dad. We would have liked to come for his service, as you know Dale's Mom passed away and her service is on Saturday, too. You Dad was such a neat and interesting cousin. I loved to listen to him tell stories of our families. He and your Mom were such a great couple.I remember going to their wedding and it was a real event being it was a double wedding. All of you have my sincere sympathy and God Bless you.Love Carolyn

Sorry to hear about your Dad. But now he is pain free, and is with your Mom. Sorry we will not be able to be there, but we are having Dale's Mom funeral that day also. She passed away on Feb 3rd, but because of a planned vacation for a granddaughter, and Dale, his sisters Marlys & Sharon agreed to wait. Her visitation will be Friday evening, and the funeral at 3:00 on Sat. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.

I am so happy that Oren is with his Savior and with Violet and Jay, but face it, Sun Dial will never be the same. He was such a kind man.
