WEBSTER – Angeline “Angie” Boik 90 of Webster passed away Monday September 10, 2018 at Bethesda Home in Webster. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday September 13, 2018 at Christ The King Catholic Church in Webster. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Grenville, South Dakota. Visitation will be on Wednesday 5-7 P.M. closing with a Rosary service at 7P.M. at Fiksdal Funeral Service in Webster. Angie was born April 10, 1928 on a farm near Grenville, South Dakota to Albert and Victoria (Kulesa) Paszek. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Grenville. Angie attended country school near the family farm. After receiving her education she worked on the Paszek family farm, milking cows and helping raise her younger siblings. Angie was united in marriage to Stephen Boik on October, 12 1948 at St. Joseph’s Church in Grenville and to this union three children were born. Angie was a homemaker and a farmer’s wife. She worked alongside Stephen while raising their children. After Stephen passed away in 1985 Angie moved to Webster where she worked at Dakotah Inc. Angie was active at Christ the King Catholic Church where she sang in the choir. She participated in the Relay for Life walk annually, being a cancer survivor herself. She was a member of Catholic Daughters of America, and a 70 year member of the Grenville American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed volunteering at the nursing home and hospital. Angie had a great sense of humor and loved to spend time gardening, canning and baking. She passed away on Monday, September 10, 2018 at Webster, South Dakota at the age of 90 years and 5 months. Angie will be forever loved and greatly missed by one daughter, Carol Nietz of Brooklyn Park, MN; 2 sons, Ronald Boik of Grenville, SD and Allen (Debbie) Boik of Excelsior Springs, MO;; six Grandchildren, Kelly (Lacey) Boik of Grenville, SD; Stacy (Doug) Trainor of Andover, MN; Lindsay Neitz of Roseville, MN; Kelsey (Tim) Saldana of Andover, MN; and Whitney (Jon) Britton of St. Paul, MN; 2 brothers, Jim (Betty) Paszek of Webster and Edwin Paszek of Webster. Angie is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandson, Kevin Boik, three sisters, and two brothers.
