Anton Tony Yrdanoff, 78 of Bristol died on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Sun Dial Manor in Bristol Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 3, 2011 at Westside Wesleyan Church in Bristol, Rev. Matt Pribyl will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Aberdeen. Anton Joseph Tony Yrdanoff was born on Monday, November 28, 1932 to Steve and Helen (Nowak) Yrdanoff near Grenville, South Dakota. The attended school in Grenville and Webster. After he received his education he moved to Aberdeen. Where he was employed at various jobs. In 1952 he married Isabell Schiley and they continued to make their home in Aberdeen. To this union three children were born; Barb, Mark and Sherry. Tony worked at Clark Implement for twenty two years. In 1977 he moved to Webster where he was employed at Grosek Tire and Mereen Johnson Machine Company. On November 25, 1977 he was united in marriage to Mavis Krueger-Morehouse at Aberdeen. The couple made their home in Bristol and he continued to work in Webster. He also worked at Cenex in Bristol and worked for area farmers until his retirement. He entered Sun Dial Manor in January 2011. He was a member of Westside Wesleyan Church in Bristol. One of his great passions was hunting of any type. Tony passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Bristol, South Dakota at the age of 78 years, 10 months and 1 day. Survivors include his wife, Mavis of Bristol; one son, Mark Yrdanoff of Aberdeen; one daughter, Sherry (Paul) Jung of Aberdeen; a step-son, Mike (Deb Hanson) Morehouse of Cold Spring, MN; a step-daughter, Shari (Steve Kuehl) Morehouse of Hutchinson, MN; two grandchildren, Tina (Ross) Horning of Sioux Falls, SD and Crystal Hines of Boulder, CO; seven step-grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Steve and a daughter, Barb Sperle.
