Cindy Webster, 66, of Webster, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022 at her home in Webster.
Memorial visitation, celebrating the life of Cindy will be 1-4 P.M. Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Fiksdal Funeral Service in Webster.
Lucinda Kay Johnson was born on July 16, 1955, at Bertha, Minnesota to Archie and Lucille (Jones) Johnson. She attended school in Eagle Bend, Minnesota. After her education, she married Robert Anderson. To this union three daughters were born, Jackie, Renae, and Melissa. The family made their home in the Bertha and Eagle Bend area. Cindy worked mainly at local restaurants and diners.
On September 4, 1999, she married Howard Webster in Bertha. The couple made their home in Little Falls, Minnesota until 2005, when they purchased a diner in Webster, South Dakota. The couple owned and operated Webster’s Dakota Diner until 2018.
Cindy enjoyed trips to the casino, watching Hallmark Christmas movies, listening to Sunday Morning Classics on 96.9, and more than anything else, she cherished time spent with her family and dog, Annie.
Cindy passed away surrounded by her family at her home in Webster at the age of 66 years, 6 months, and 13 days.
She will be forever loved and greatly missed by her husband Howard of Webster, SD, daughters: Jackie (Daniel) Anderson of Bradley, SD, Renae (Patrick) Hill of Seattle, WA, and Melissa Schwarz of Columbus, GA, and 11 grandchildren. She is also survived by two step-daughters: Becke (Albert) Szczubiala and Nancie Webster both of Las Vegas, NV, sister Roxanne (Steve) Hoskins of Park Rapids, MN, brother Garth (Heidi) Johnson of Verndale, MN, sister-in-law Joleen Johnson of Eagle Bend, MN, God-son Christian Miller of Battle Lake, MN, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Arlen Johnson.
