David Morehouse

David Morehouse, 55, of Webster died on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at his home in Webster. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Fiksdal Funeral Chapel in Webster, Pastor Moeller will officiate. Burial will be in Bristol Cemetery. Closed casket visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday, August 17, 11 A.M. until service time. Family prefers memorial directed to the American Cancer Society. David Wayne Morehouse was born on Tuesday, March 12, 1958 to Jerry and Jackie (Holmquist) Morehouse at Peabody Hospital in Webster, South Dakota. The family made their home on a farm near Bristol. He was baptized at Westside Wesleyan Church in Bristol. He graduated from New London High School in New London, Minnesota. After he received his education, he worked for his father for twelve years in Shakopee, Minnesota. In 1990, he returned to Bristol and then, in 2000, moved to Webster where he has resided since. He worked as a welder for Mereen-Johnson Tool Company. After his health failed, he worked part-time until he was forced to retire in 2013. David enjoyed hunting, fishing and being with his friends. David passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at his home in Webster at the age of 55 years, 4 months and 26 days. Survivors include his parents, Jerry Morehouse of Seminole, FL and Jackie (Ron) Fritzke of Watertown, MN; two sisters, Jackie (Shane) Touhey of Cologne, MN and Missy (Corey) Trebiatowski of Chaska, MN; a step-brother, Roger Fritzke of Mound, MN; a step-sister, Amy (Tracy) Fritzke-Rabenberg of Mound, MN; his dogs, Macy and Callie, and his kitty, Punky. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Amanda, and one brother, Bryan.
