WEBSTER – Jeanette Lesnar, 97, of Webster passed away Sunday October 4, 2020 at Bethesda Home in Webster. Mass Of Christian Burial will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday October 10, 2020 at Christ The King Catholic Church in Webster. Masks will be required, and social distancing guidelines will be followed. Burial will be at St. Otto’s Catholic Cemetery. Walk through visitation will be Friday 6-7 P.M. at the funeral home. Jeanette Esther Pischke was born on April 13, 1923 to Michael and Marie (Popleau) Pischke at Webster, South Dakota. She attended country school south of Webster and helped her parents on the family farm. On July 5, 1943, Jeanette was united in marriage to love of her life, Frank J. Lesnar at St. Otto’s Catholic Church in Webster. To this union, seven children were born. The family made their home on a farm south of Webster. In 1982, the couple moved into Webster. Jeanette was an excellent cook, baker, and seamstress. She enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening as well as canning. At the age of 96 years, she lived at her home and tended to her flowers as well as making grape juice from the grapes she raised in her backyard. Playing cards was a fun pastime for Jeanette as well as volunteering at Needs Anonymous. Above all else, Jeanette cherished time spent with her family. Jeanette passed away Sunday October 4, 2020 at Webster, South Dakota at the age of 97 years, 5 months, and 20 days. She will be forever loved and greatly missed by her children: Kay Lesnar of Sioux Falls, SD, Tom Lesnar of Webster, SD, Beverley Lesnar of Holmen, WI, Yvonne (Dale) Birney of Waubay, SD, and Mary Ryan of Webster, SD, one brother Florian (Marlys) Pischke of Watertown, SD, one sister Estelle Kaiser of Bismarck, ND, one sister-in-law Helen Pischke of Webster, SD, 18 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, one daughter, two grandchildren, three sisters, and four brothers. Blessed Be Her Memory.
