Jeffery A. Welch, 25, of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away at Sanford USD Medical Center and Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
Memorial Service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Fiksdal Funeral Service in Webster, South Dakota. Services will be livestreamed on Fiksdal Funeral Service Facebook page. Pastor Clark Audiss will officiate.

Jeffery Alexander Welch “Pork Chop” was born on June 2, 1998, in Newport News, Virginia. He was the second child born to Jon Welch and Kathrine Willis. At the end of 1998, Jon was discharged from the Navy, and the family moved to Watertown, South Dakota. In 2005, they moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota where Jeffery attended Laura Wilder Whittier and later graduated from Washington High School. After his education he became a jack of all trades but a master of his one true love, music. On October 3, 2021, Jeff and Miranda Stuckey welcomed their daughter, Laylanni Anne Welch. Jeff and Diana Cruz are expecting a baby due in 2023.
Jeff had the most contagious laugh and a smile that could brighten anyone’s day. Above all he loved making and creating music.
Sadly, Jeff passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at the age of 25 years, 1 month, and 3 days at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD.
Jeff will be forever loved and deeply missed by his parents, Jon Welch and Kathrine Willis; two brothers, Benjamin Willis, and Brandon Hansen; four sisters, Jasmine Welch, Victoria Welch, Machaela Herrin, and Abigail welch; one daughter, Laylanni Anne Welch; special friend, Diana Cruz and baby Welch, due late 2023.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and one aunt.
