Jeffrey Phillips, 61, of Waubay, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at his home in Waubay.
Memorial visitation will be 2-4 P.M. Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at the funeral home.

Jeffrey Allan Phillips was born on August 8, 1961, to Alvin and Lorna (Barry) Phillips at Webster, South Dakota. He attended school in Waubay. After his education he moved to Florida and worked construction. In the mid-1980’s he returned to Waubay and continued to work construction. In 1993, he married Leanne Mohr. To this union, two children were born, Jessi and AJ. The family made their home in Waubay. |
Jeff was a private man who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed cooking, spending time with his dogs and tipping back an Old Milwaukee. Above all else, he loved his family. Jeffrey Alan Phillips passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Waubay, South Dakota at the age of 61 years, 9 months, and 30 days.
He will be forever missed by his daughter, Jessi Phillips, granddaughter, Jaela Spanks and son, AJ Phillips all of Waubay, SD, three brothers, Arnold (Arlet) Phillips of Grand Forks, ND, Ronald (Lydia) Phillips of Alpena, SD, John Phillips of Waubay, SD, two sisters, Faye (Gerald) Pies of Waubay, SD and Dawn Murphy of Webster, SD, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Russell Phillips, and one grandson Julian “Sonny”Embray.
