Jeremiah "Jerry" Waldner

Jeremiah S. Waldner, 56 of Warren, Oregon and formerly of Edmunds, County, South Dakota died on Thursday May 10, 2018 at Hillsboro, Oregon. He is the brother of Ike Waldner of Webster. A prayer service will be held 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Fiksdal Funeral Chapel in Webster with a 5-7 P.M. visitation preceding the service. Rev. Mike DeKraai will officiate. Burial will be at Newport Colony Cemetery near Amherst at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday. Jerry Waldner was born on September 18, 1961, to Sam and Marie Waldner in Edmunds County, South Dakota. He grew up near Claremont. Jerry worked near Aberdeen for several years where he met Shawn Campbell. They married and moved to Portland, Oregon. He worked for 15 years as a mechanic for Trimet, where he retired in 2017. Jerry’s retirement was spent rebuilding houses, and fishing. His sense of humor and smile will be missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his mother, Marie Waldner of Newport Colony; his siblings, Sam and Claudia of Newport Colony, Mike and Marie of WhiteRock Colony, Ray and Lillian of Westwood Colony, Ike and Sue of Webster, SD, Richard and Martha, Nat and Carolyn and Peter and Margaret all of Deerfield Colony, Leonard and Rachel of Rustic Acres Colony, Joseph and Ruth of Westwood Colony and Willie and Emma of WhiteRock Colony. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Stanley.
