The couple made their home in Webster until January 1958, when they moved to a farm four miles north of Holmquist. Lloyd and Joanne had three sons, Danny Lloyd, David Alan, and Kevin Lee. Lloyd passed away in 2001. Joanne continued to live on the farm until 2006, when she built a home in Webster, where she lived until 2022, when she moved to Bethesda Home.

Joanne enjoyed bowling and bowled at the Webster and Bristol bowling alleys for many years. She thoroughly enjoyed her family and looked forward to her visits with each of them.
