A few months after John moved to Waubay i came to help him when brother Ric was hospitalized with MRSA. I was to take care of John by cooking and being his eyes in an unfamiliar place. After a lifetime in Las Vegas he stepped up like a pro when straight line winds hit pre dawn. When he woke me, sending me to the basement with his dogs joining us only after he had done all he had learned to protect his adopted home. I remain surprised and impressed at how he handled a completely unfamiliar and dangerous situation. Love you John!
