Kenneth Nilson

WEBSTER- Ken Nilson 67 of Prescot Valley, AZ died on Wednesday June 3, 2009 at Prescot Valley. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, July 13, 2009 at the Fiksdal Funeral Chapel in Webster, Rev. Janet Miller will officiate. Kenneth Harold Nilson was born on August 22, 1941 to Harold and Rosemary (Harksen) Nilson at Webster, South Dakota. He was baptized and confirmed at Tabor Lutheran Church near Webster. He attended country school and then graduated from Bristol High School in 1959. After high school he followed in his grandfather’s footsteps and was a carpenter by trade. At the time of his death he had worked as a carpenter for over 30 years. Survivors include his seven children, Kevin, Kerry, Kimberly, Kelly, Angela, Audra & Kendall; his mother, Rosemary Nilson of Webster, SD; two brothers, Jim (Gayle) Nilson of Webster, SD & Rick (Cindy) Nilson of Kittyhawk, NC and one sister, Diane (Craig) Steffes of Bristol, SD. He was preceded in death by his father.
