WEBSTER-Lyaleen Snaza, 67 of Webster died on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at her home near Webster. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Christ The King Catholic Church in Webster. Burial will be at Prairie Hill Cemetery, Bradley. Visitation will be at Fiksdal Funeral Service in Webster on Tuesday, 4-7 P.M. with a 7 P.M. Rosary. There will be no visitation at the church. Lyaleen Marea Mitchell was born on Monday, December 21, 1942 to Lyle and Evelyn (Moen) Mitchell at Webster, South Dakota. She grew up in the Bradley-Clark area where she attended school and graduated from Bradley High School in 1961. After graduation she lived in Aberdeen where she worked at St. Lukes Hospital. On October 27, 1963 she was united in marriage to Edwin Snaza at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Grenville. After their marriage they made their home southwest of Grenville in Grenville Township where they were engaged in farming. She worked at Breskes Caf, Dalys Fleet Farm Store and Als Plumbing and Heating. In 1992 they built a new home and moved to Gaikowskis addition north of Webster. In 1994 she began working at Waynes Heating as a bookkeeper. Because of her health she retired earlier in 2010. She loved reading, traveling, going to auction sales, playing on the computer, caring for her flowers and bowling. She also had a tremendous love for her daughters and grandchildren. Lyaleen passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at her home near Webster at the age of 67 years, 10 months and 23 days. Survivors include her husband, Edwin of Webster; three daughters, Deborah Green of Bondurant, Iowa, Danette (Darrell) Aldrich of Webster and Deidra (Kevin) Rydberg of Madison, SD; two brothers, Ronn (Sharlene) Mitchell of Rapid City, SD and Roger (Jenny) Mitchell of Keystone, SD; eight grandsons and four granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son.
