Macie Olson, 13, of Webster passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Saturday April 3, 2021 at her home in Webster after a courageous battle against Juvenile Huntington's Disease. A memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday April 9, 2021 at the Webster Armory in Webster and will be livestreamed on Fiksdal Funeral Service Facebook page. Inurnment will follow at the Webster Cemetery. All in attendance are asked to wear pink casual clothing in honor of Macie. Public memorial visitation will be 5-7 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. Macie Ann Olson was born on September 7, 2007 to Stephen and Nancy (Eisenbraun) Olson at Milbank, South Dakota. She was baptized at United Methodist Church in Webster. She attended school at Webster and was currently in the 7th grade. Macie loved animals, horses, dogs, and cats were her favorites! She also loved butterflies and the color pink! She collected blankets and stuffed animals. She enjoyed watching the Frozen movies, playing Go Fish, Phase 10, UNO, Candyland, and all kinds of matching games. Macie especially loved giving hugs to her family and friends. She always had a smile on her face and a laugh that was super contagious. She cherished time spent with her Aunt Vicki and Nahla the most! At the age of 6, Macie was diagnosed with Juvenile Huntington’s Disease. She was a fighter and left an imprint on many hearts. Huntington’s Disease has also affected by many of Macie’s family members including her Dad Steve, Grandma Ann, Aunt Michelle, Aunt Patty, Cousin Derek, and Uncle William. Macie lost her courageous battle with JHD at the age of 13 years, 6 months, and 25 days. She will be forever loved and greatly missed by her Mom Nancy Olson and sister Kylie Olson both of Webster, SD, Grandparents: Helene Eisenbraun of Webster, SD and Steven Olson Sr. of Watertown, SD, Aunts: Vicki Coin of Webster, SD, Patty Eisenbraun of Sioux Falls, SD, Sandi Eisenbraun of Webster, SD, and Patty Thorson of Watertown, SD, Uncles: Tim (Shelly) Eisenbraun of Webster, SD, Jay Dufex of Castlewood, SD, and Ryan Thorson of Florence, SD, Cousins: Kristi (Daniel) & Nova Eisenbraun of Sioux Falls, SD, Brandon (Kelly) & Blakelyn Eisenbraun of Webster, SD, Ashley (Aaron) Eisenbraun of Platte, SD, Austin Eisenbraun of Webster, SD, Brooke (Cody) & Landree Hoff of Watertown, SD, Evan and Sean Thorson of Florence, SD, Jayson and Zach Dufex of Castlewood, SD, and special friends: Mataia German of Webster, SD and Terry Reitz of Clark, SD.Macie was welcomed to Heaven by her Dad Stephen Olson, Grandparents: Martin Eisenbraun and Ann Olson, Uncles: Mike Eisenbraun, Jeffrey Eisenbraun, and Ed Coin, Aunt Michelle Dufex, and Great-Grandparents: Lillian Olson, Martin and Adella Eisenbraun and Walter and Evelyn Roitsch.
