Mavis Yrdanoff, 81 of Bristol died on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Sun Dial Manor in Bristol. Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Westside Wesleyan Church in Bristol, Rev. Lynn Lutz officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Aberdeen. Visitation will be at Fiksdal Funeral Service in Webster on Friday 5-7 P.M. Mavis Joyce Krueger was born on May 16, 1936 to Carl and Josephine (Jacobson) Krueger at Stratford, South Dakota. She began school in Stratford and later graduated from Groton High School. After high school she worked in the area. She married Jim Morehouse in 1954. The couple made their home in the Bristol area. They adopted two children, Shari and Mike. She married Anton “Tony” Yrdanoff in 1977 and they continued to make their home in Bristol. She worked at several jobs in the area but her most enjoyable and longest was at Sun Dial Manor in Bristol for 26 years. Tony passed away in September 2011. After his death she continued living in Bristol. She was a member of Westside Wesleyan Church in Bristol She was a doll collector and loved to visit and have coffee with her friends, neighbors and co-workers. Mavis also made many trips to Minnesota to visit her children and grandchildren. Survivors include one son, Mike (Jeanette Benson) Morehouse of Hutchinson, MN; one daughter, Shari (Steve Kuehl) Morehouse of Hutchinson, MN; a step-daughter, Sherry (Paul) Jung of Aberdeen, SD; a sister, Angie (Ron) Larson of Canton, SD; seven grandchildren, Gretchen (Eric) Sietsema, Dustin Morehouse, Heather (Travis) Daly, Christopher Morehouse, Brianna Brundell (Jason Swift), Jennifer Brundell (Luc Nissen) and Jordan Brundell (Manuel Ramos); two step grandchildren, Tina (Ross) Horning and Crystal Hinz; and 10 great-grandchildren Elizabeth, Annika and Bridgette Sietsema, Roman and Jaslene Ramos, Alex Horning, Madison and Aubree Morehouse, Hunter and Jeffery Daly. She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother, Dayton, a step-son, Mark Yrdanoff and a step-daughter, Barb Sperle. .
