Patricia "Pat" German, 68, of rural Roslyn passed away Monday May 31, 2021 at her home. Private family services will be held. Condolences may be sent to: Theresa (German) Boone PO Box 624 South Shore SD 57263 Patricia Louise German was born on February 15, 1953 to Thomas and Millie (Sundstrom) Gerber at Wisconsin. As a young child, the family moved to White Plains, New York. Pat attended school there and graduated in 1971. After high school, she moved to California and worked for Sears Co. In 1973, she relocated to Aberdeen, South Dakota. On July 6, 1974, she was united in marriage to Leo German. To this union two children were born, Theresa and Thomas. Pat stayed home to raise their children while Leo worked on the road. The family made their home near Sisseton, South Dakota until 1990, when they purchased a farm northwest of Roslyn. Pat was a loving mother and grandmother. She was an artist at heart whether it be drawing or writing. One of her great artistic tasks was refinishing an old school bus into a work of art camper! She also enjoyed reading, crocheting, and woodworking. She had a green thumb and was in her glory caring for her plants and roses. Pat passed away Monday May 31, 2021 at the age of 68 years, 3 months, and 16 days. She will be forever loved and greatly missed by her husband Leo of Roslyn, children Theresa (Tom) Boone of South Shore, SD, and Thomas German of Fitchburg, WI, three grandchildren: Malcom, Mitchell, and Maxwell as well as one great grandchild Andre’ and one on the way in October. She is also survived by her mother Millie Gerber of Aberdeen, SD, and six siblings: Mark, Todd, Eric, Henry, Mary Lee, and Pauline. She was preceded in death by her father.
