I remember visiting Raymond, Rosella and family on the farm in 1960 or so. It was a Sunday afternoon when farm families went visiting. My sisters Carol, Mary Jane and I hung out with Beverly and Darlene of course, ignoring the boys as much as possible! Rosella provided a light lunch of course with a variety of cakes and probably jello as well as the popular "no bake" cookies which were made of rolled oats, chocolate and coconut. My dad saw these from the other end of the table and asked to pass the hamburgers!! Of course as kids we all thought this was hilarious that he would mistake cookies for hamburgers! We all snickered quietly. By Suzanne Gruba, daughter of Philomena Kwasniewski Gruba who was Raymond's sister.

May she rest in Peace! Although it has been several years, when Ray was still alive, that I was able to have a pleasant visit with my cousin, that last visit was reminiscent of many pleasant memories that I remember my parents having with her and Ray many years ago! God speed to your heavenly reward, Rosella! Jim Kurkowski
