BRISTOL- Sharon Jensen, 63 of Bristol died on Sunday, July 01, 2007 at Sanford Hospital in Webster. Her funeral will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Westside Wesleyan Church in Bristol, Rev. Matt Pribyl officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Mound Cemetery, Butler. Visitation will be at Fiksdal Funeral Service in Webster on Wednesday, 4-8 P.M. with a 7 P.M. Prayer Service then continuing at the church prior to services on Thursday. Sharon Kay Urban was born on Thursday, January 20, 1944 to Harold and Doris (Williamson) Urban at Webster, South Dakota. She attended elementary school in Butler, graduated from Bristol High School in 1962 and from Northern State University in Aberdeen in 1966. She moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota where she was employed until 1968. On September 22, 1968 she married Marvin Jensen of Butler. After their marriage the couple made their home and farmed south of Bristol. In October 1995 they moved to Bristol. Over the years Sharon was a Tupperware dealer, restaurant cook, operated a catering business and most recently was employed as a care giver at Gelhaus Carehouse in Aberdeen. Mr. Jensen passed away in December 1999. Sharon passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2007 at Webster, South Dakota at the age of 63 years, 5 months and 12 days. Survivors include one brother, Lynn (Mary Ann) Urban of Zumbrota, MN; one niece, Julie (Johan) Urban Christopherson of Minneapolis, MN; two nephews, Jeff (Susan) Urban of St. Louis Park, MN and Jon (Carla) Urban of Minnepolis, MN, her mother-in-law, Edna Jensen of Bristol, SD; and a host of relatives and friends including, Julaine Busch of Bristol, SD and Geneva Iverson of Aberdeen, SD. She was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law, Howard Jensen.
