Sharon (Reiprich) Pulling

Sharon (Reiprich) Pulling, 83, of Sioux Falls, passed away Friday July 25, 2025, at Prince of Peace in Sioux Falls.

Sharon Pulling was born Sharon Yvonne Reiprich on January 21, 1942, to Henry and Bernice Reiprich of Webster South Dakota. Sharon had two sisters, her older sister, Darlene Jacobson of Minneapolis Minnesota and her younger sister, Sandy Schock of Webster. Sharon was a lot like her father Henry, who was hard working, adored family and was full of life. Henry loved to dance, as did Sharon.

Sharon was musically gifted and could play the piano, organ, clarinet and accordion. In Sharon's teen years, you would often find her playing organ at church or the accordion at dances.

Sharon married Dennis Tornow of Monroe in 1965. They had three children together: Sheila, Shelly and Darren. Sharon and Dennis lived in and around Sioux Falls and Webster. They divorced early in 1978. Sharon and the kids eventually moved to Aberdeen where she married Wes Pulling in the fall of 1979. They all lived in Aberdeen for a number of years, moving to Brandon the summer of 1984. Sharon and Wes divorced in 1992.

Throughout the years Sharon worked a variety of jobs, from bartending to office management.

Sharon developed dementia and at the age of 63 needed long-term care support. Sharon lived primarily at Avera Prince of Peace in Sioux Falls. At the age of 80, Sharon had a major stroke, leaving her completely dependent for all her care.

Through it all, Sharon always had a smile on her face and knew her family and friends. Sharon was beloved by all, as she genuinely seemed content, never complained, and was very pleasant to care for.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and sisters. Sharon will be deeply missed by her children, Sheila (John) Haffeman of Sioux Falls, Shelly (Jeff) Otten of River Falls Wisconsin, and Darren (Tanya) Tornow of Sioux Falls.

Sharon has five grandchildren, Luke and Carly Haffeman, Landry (Rachel) Otten, and Brennan and Sheldon Tornow.

Sharon is now dancing again with her father Henry in heaven!
