Tamara "Tami" J Pesall

Tamara "Tami" J Pesall of Webster SD, passed away at Avera St. Luke's Hospital in Aberdeen on Tuesday September 9, 2025. A memorial Visitation will be held at Fiksdal Funeral Service, Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 1:00-3:00PM. A time of sharing will begin at 2:30PM.

Tamara “Tami” Jean Pesall was born October 23, 1963, to Leone (Dragt) and Lyle Egeberg. Her mother would go onto marry Merwin (Scotty) Scott, who Tami lovingly referred to as her Dad. She was the youngest of seven children and she loved letting everyone know that she was the baby of the family. With her blonde hair, hazel eyes, sweet smile and big personality, Tami was loved by all.

Tami married Duane Peschong on October 24, 1981, and together they built their family with Jonathan, Justin, Eric, Megan and her angel baby, Rebecca Ann. Tami was blessed to marry Darrin Pesall on August 4, 1999, and together they took on the world of motorcycling, house projects, yard projects, gardening, animal rescue and pet adoption. Tami had an extensive flamingo collection which Darrin incorporated into many of their projects. She also loved the many colors of lilies that would grow in their gardens.

Tami would bake the most delicious treats to share. She was famous for her pumpkin bars, rice-krispie treats, chocolate chip cookies, scotcharoos, and banana bread. She shared her love by sharing her treats and no one ever went home without extras.

There was never any doubt that Tami loved her children. She was so proud to watch them grow up and begin their own families. She adored her grandchildren and loved watching their individual personalities, interests and quirks. According to Tami, all of her grandchildren looked just like her. Tami was the gramma with a phone full of pictures, who was always ready to talk about her grandbabies.

Tami is survived by her husband, Darrin Pesall of Webster; her son Jonathan, his wife Claire and their children, Sophia, Connor and Sara Peschong of Pierre; son Justin Peschong of Pierre, son Eric, his wife Amber and their children Declan, Zola and Amiyah of Strandburg, daughter Megan Peschong of Pierre, step-son Jesse Pesall of Webster, her sisters Kathy (Ron) Drobeck of Tucson, AZ, Julie DeVille of Watertown, Kim (Rob) Kontz of Chamberlain, and brothers Laurel Egeberg of Montrose, LaWayne (Cindy) Egeberg of Hazen, ND, Jim (Nenette) Egeberg of Oak Park, IL, sister-in-law Dusty (Trevor) Brown of Sioux Falls, step-sister Karla Comrie of Rapid City, step-brother Kerry Scott of Watertown, father-in-law Roger Pesall of Webster, and countless nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Tami was preceded in death by her daughter Rebecca Ann Peschong, her parents, her mother-in-law, her grandparents and her step-brothers Kenneth and Kevin Scott.
