A candle was lit in memory of Violet Davidson

Darlene Russell Jun 14 2021 12:00 AM

My heartfelt sympathy to the family of Violet. She was my first cousin. We corresponded over the years as I knew she loved receiving cards and letters. The last time myself and husband visited with her was on our trip to So.Dak. in 2019. We took her to dinner and had a wonderful visit and a few days later at the Gramberg Reunion in Ortley. As a child and teenager, my parents, Rudy and Olga (Gramberg) Olson would drive from Calif. to So.Dak. for their yearly visit with the Gramberg/Olson families. I am so very glad and fortunate that I had the opportunity to meet and spend time with all my Aunts, Uncles, and cousins as so many have passed away. My parents moved from So.Dak to Calif. and myself, husband and our family continue to live in Calif. I will treasure the memory of Violet and know that one day I will see her again. My sincere sympathy, Darlene (Olson) Russell
